About: Located in Springfield, Virginia, the Community Business Partnership is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization formed in 1995 in response to an identified need for small business technical assistance and financing services, particularly to low-moderate income and disadvantaged individuals, including minorities, women and the disabled. While providing high quality training and counseling to all small businesses, the Partnership seeks to provide a financing alternative to benefit those unable to attract a commercial loan or other traditional source of funds.

Programs:
Over the past decade Community Business Partnership has grown to distinct programs:
- The Business Finance Center (BFC) has direct access to two distinct microloan programs in house to help you with your funding needs. In addition, it will help in the preparation of a traditional loan package and make introductions to high street banks. The BFC also offers counseling on understanding and projecting cash flow and managing the financial health of a small business.
- The mission of the Business Incubation Center (BIC) is to foster regional economic development by supporting entrepreneurs and small/disadvantaged businesses by providing managerial & technical assistance, low office rental rates, and shared access to basic office services and equipment. These services are designed to allow clients to minimize the initial high costs associated with setting up the necessary facilities, equipment ad services for a business environment. Business incubation is a dynamic process of business enterprise development where emerging firms are nurtured and helped to survive and grow during the start-up period when they are most vulnerable.
- The South Fairfax Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides professional business counseling, training, and information resources to help grow and strengthen small and middle size businesses in the Metropolitan area. SBDC staff and professional volunteers provide confidential assistance in the areas of strategic business planning, federal and local government procurement, marketing, financial analysis, access to capital, business start-up, and other specialized services as requested.
- The Women's Business Center of Northern Virginia was funded to help any woman in the Northern Virginia area who is interested in starting or expanding her small business. The Women's Business Center offers free and low-cost training programs, free 1:1 technical assistance counseling, marketing assistance, access to banks and micro-lenders, help in getting special certifications to do business with local, state and federal government, a resource library, computers, high-speed Internet access, and much more. The mission is to provide the training, assistance and support that women, particularly minority and socially disadvantaged women need to start and grow successful small businesses in Northern Virginia.
