Over the next few days, Georgetown will become a campus filled with creativity and innovation both of which are the distinguishing of the many entrepreneurs who will travel from across the world for Georgetown Entrepreneurship Day. The event is for members of the “Georgetown and area community to interact with world-class entrepreneurs, hear students pitch their ideas and network with alumni and students while the campus celebrates entrepreneurial successes.”
Among the events outlined include:
- Listening to keynote speakers including: Tom Grossi, Partner at NEA, Melissa Bradley, CEO of the Tides Foundation, Ann Sarnoff, COO of BBC America, Jonathan Perelli, Founding Partner at Fortify, and many more
- Watching aspiring student entrepreneurs compete in a Rocket Pitch Competition
- Participating in the official kick-off of Global Entrepreneurship Week
- Engaging with “ready-to-fund” startups founded by top Georgetown students and alumni in the StartupHoyas Showcase
- Meet Georgetown alumni, student, and startup enthusiasts at the evening reception and learn more about the programs offered by the Entrepreneurship Initiatives
