Best of DMV – Wednesday, June 5th

From around the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area comes the latest business news and announcements. Collared Greens, a North Carolina-based men’s apparel company, is setting up shop in a 900-square-foot storefront at 5707 Grove Ave., near the corner of Libbie and Grove avenues. Malmaison, the third establishment from the Popal family, is anticipating a soft opening Monday for its lunch and dinner menu. A dessert service will be available at a later date. Factors Row, downtown Annapolis' newest restaurant, opened its doors Sunday to much fanfare after several delays. Hot Hot Bakery, a new food cart featuring French-style baked goods, recently debuted along North Stuart Street near the Ballston Metro Station. Not Your Average Joe's opened to the public at 4 p.m. on June 3 at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. Maryland was recently ranked the best place to start a business, according to Entrepreneur magazine.
