Community Business Partnership (SBDC)
About Us: Our Center
Created in 1995, Community Business Partnership (CBP) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization working in collaboration with a number of local, regional and national organizations to promote small business growth in our communities.
We help small businesses start and grow. Our mission is to be the premier provider of full spectrum educational and support services to small businesses in Fairfax County and beyond; enabling them to make a significant contribution to a vibrant local economy.
Our Core Business
Community Business Partnership (CBP) provides education, technical assistance, business incubation services, access to capital and networking opportunities.
We serve potential and existing small business owners to include socially and economically disadvantaged individuals including minorities, women and the disabled – primarily located in Northern Virginia.
We empower our clients by providing access to resources in order to fulfill their dreams, to provide for their financial security as well as that of their families, and to contribute to the economic growth of their communities. We also help our strategic partners meet business development and regulatory objectives aimed at providing economic growth and stability for the region.
Over the past decade Community Business Partnership has grown to include 4 distinct programs:
The Virginia Women’s Business Center, the South Fairfax Small Business Development Center, the Business Finance Center and the Business Incubation Center.
