From around the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area comes the latest business news and announcements. Strangeways Brewing unveiled its 8,400-square-foot brewery at 2277 Dabney Rd., just off Staples Mill Road. Founder Neil Burton said the brewery has been about four years in the making. VCU alumna Cathy Davis this month opened Orange Richmond, a home decor and gift shop at 3007 W. Cary St. All of the inventory will be supplied by local artists, Davis said. Gelati Celesti started operating an ice cream truck last week. Owner Steve Rosser said the truck will make regular appearances at summer festivals, office parks and food truck courts. Capitol Prague, a new Czech and Slovak-inspired restaurant and cafe, opened its restaurant section Tuesday at 3277 M St. NW in Georgetown. 360IT Partners, a Virginia Beach information technology services company, was named “Small Business of the Year” by the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.
