Occoquan, VA Bridal Shop Deals with the Floods from Mother Nature

Mother Nature has hit business in the area really hard this year. Just when business owners thought they were done with her and all the snow she brought, many businesses in the DMV especially in Occoquan, Virginia had to deal with flooding–a result of all the rain the past few days. One of these business owners who was affected was Ellalyne Brayman the owner of Labella Bridal Boutique. Due to the flooding, Ellalyne moved 100's of wedding and prom dresses upstairs as her basement was flooded with over 8 inches of water from the Occoquan River. Ellalyne has received support from loyal clients and customers on her Facebook page and she says that while she's “sore” from moving so much upstairs and was closed Thursday, she is planning on opening her upstairs section for prom dresses and accessories Friday and is planning on re-opening the entire shop this weekend.
