The race is on for six startups competing for a $70,000 top prize. Cupid's Cup, sponsored by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, will pit six startups from around the nation against one another in front of 1,000 attendees at the University of Maryland's Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. Each startup finalist will pitch their company to Plank and other judges in hopes of winning the Cup. On the day of the finale there will also be a 50-plus startup and entrepreneurship organization showcase.
Finalists for Cupid's cup range from Florida State University to UCLA. The final competition will be held on 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The BB&T Business and Innovation showcase being held at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
